Hi everyone. I've just joined. My name's Cate and I run the website Disability_fanfic. Which, if you don't know, it lists all fanfic I know of (in any fandom) in which a main character had or acquires a disability.
I'm not sure whether this is allowed in this community, so if not then sorry and obviously ignore/delete it. I am looking for recommendations of stories that people have enjoyed that I don't yet have listed on my site (if you can't be bothered checking the site, just rec anyway) which features disability as a major theme.
Thanks in advance for any help
Cate.

Third, check with
Fourth, for my money there's no better Numb3rs disability fic than by Sammac, who writes Charlie then Don as blind to amazing effect. Her stories are at fanfiction.net. Skewed is first and complete and Relative Motion is still in progress.

I don't have any disability fic (I tend to just maim and kill but I do let the injured heal eventually) but good luck in locating more.

I'm avoiding stories focusing of original characters at the moment, mostly out of fear of an influx of mary sue recs, but I'll check out the series you suggested, thanks. And also, thanks for the link to Sammac's ff.net profile, saved me searching for it!
Thanks loads!
