I'm looking for a story with Don teaching in Quantico. I know there are a couple that focus on his relationships (which I wouldn't say no to), but I'd like to read about him being a teacher. A lesson he's teaching, a recruit that he's helping etc.
Outsider POV would be great, too.

I've read Connect The Dots, and I seem to recall a good (but unfinished) third season fic where Don had amnesia (well, Millie was in it, so I guess it was third season). Actually, if that one ever got finished, point me in that direction, please.

I'm a sucker for amnesia fic. Full or partial amnesia (ie., fifth season Colby thinks it's 2006 and he's a spy or Larry has no idea who he is or what year it is at all). Anyone can be the amnesiac. Any couple is fine, so long as it's canonical for the time period the story is set in, but I love genfic too. Just not any where Alan think Margaret is still alive - that one's too rough for me.

So, any other good fics out there where one of our gang has amnesia?

I read a story a year or so ago where Colby was dyslexic, always writing a certain letter (B I think) backward. He was kidnapped after the episode with Ian in the prison, he was drugged and believed to be dead. He escaped and left a message in a pay phone booth for the team to find before he was captured again.

Don got captured somehow and thought it was Ian who took them.

I have no idea what the title of this story is and I've lost the link, but it's one of my favorites, so any help you guys can give me would be really appreciated! :)

Hi, I'm looking for a 3 part series that was on fanfiction.net. In the first story Charlie and Don had a fight and Charlie took a hiatus from teaching to go on a road trip. He gets mugged at one point and hitches a ride from a man he meets at a diner and stays with him and his wife at a lakeside park. In the second story Charlie takes don to meet the man and his wife and Don becomes jealous of the mans close brotherly relationship with Charlie. Their competition over Charlie keeps getting Charlie hurt and ending up in the A&E department.

Any help finding the series would be great :)

I know I've read it, but just can't remember where. I was thinking FF.Net, but couldn't find it there.

If I'm remembering correctly, it's set second season when Amita is still a grad student. She's hungry. Doesn't have enough money to get something from the vending machine. Larry and Charlie are away, which is a shame, because either one would buy her lunch. Charlie wouldn't mind if she took a gumball, so long as she wrote down which color. Megan shows up and offers to take her to lunch. Megan wants idea on what to get Larry for his birthday. Amita brings up the same study Charlie brought up when Alan wanted to get Donna a birthday present. Megan says "marry Charlie now" or something like that, because of their math similarity.

Anyway, I mentioned the fic to someone else who wanted to read it, but then I couldn't find it or remember the title or author. Can anyone here help me out?

Larry didn't pursue the search for the Higgs Boson. And apparently he came up with a prediction for the future of the universe (that we were told nothing about), but are there any fics out there with him reacting to the 2012 announcement of its discovery (as reported in popular press)? I'd love a good friend-y fic with him and Amita and Larry and just being excited about it or thinking about missed opportunities or any of that.

I'd enjoy some stories that explore different relationships than we commonly see. All canon-friendly - I'm not talking 'ships here, but working relationships and friendships. But a fic where Liz works heavily with David, Colby, or Megan. Or Don works with Larry or Amita (particularly set early in the series, before he knows them well). Or how about David and Charlie? What about Terry and David back when she thought of him as a spy? Actually, I'm very, very intrigued by the idea of a Liz/Larry friendship, given their talk about family and her hugging him goodbye. Just the various non-romantic character pairings that I just don't see much of in fic and would like to.

Edit: would it be possible to get a Terry tag? Or did I just overlook it?

A. does anyone know the status of the CalSci Library archive? I got a random business page when I went over there to re-visit a series I remembered which leads to

B. there's a series of stories that were posted on that archive focusing on Colby and introducing his family written by two authors together & individually. The various stories his dad is a sheriff, his mom has some physical limitation, and his brothers. There is one story about an incident in Colby's childhood when he fell in the barn. Several of the stories are episode related. Oh, and one focuses on how colby & his brothers used to to Ren faires. Does anyone remember the authors or one of the titles and whether the stories are available anywhere else? (tho of course once I know authors or titles I can google).

I'm looking for a longer fic, but remember only one scene: Don is in the hospital and Charlie refuses to let Alan in because previously Alan blamed Don for Charlie's injury (?).
I know it's not much to go on, but maybe somebody still recognizes it.

Hello everybody,

I've been rewatching Numb3rs lately, but I've fallen out of fandom for a while now, but I'm craving certain kinds of fic and I hope maybe you can help me ^_^

1) Are there any Margaret!lives scenario stories out there? Either she didn't get sick, or she survived the cancer and how that would impact the story?

2) For that matter any pre-series story from Margaret's POV or centered around her (preferably when Don and Charlie have both already been born)

3) Are there any Don and Charlies high school reunion stories? Or Don's college friends meeting Charlie pre-series

4) Anything where Charlie has to speak at a FBI conference or for some other reason comes into prolonged contact with the guys at Quantico, Alberquerque etc.?

I read really fast and find that I am running out of new stories to read. I thought about listing those that I have read and loved but the list would be way to long. I hope I am not mixing up my fandoms, but I am pretty sure this was a Numb3rs fanfic. Unfortunately I only remember one small part. Charlie is held captive (?) in a house or cabin somewhere and I think there was a bomb inside. He escapes but there is a lot of broken glass on the ground outside and he has no shoes on. Does this sound familiar to anyone????

I seem to have lost this fic and I'd really like to find it.

All I remember is Colby and David taking Charlie to some warehouse (crime scene?) to get some sort of data or something to help his math. They didn't realize that explosives (a bomb?) were left behind from the original bad guys. It blows up and injures all of them. Charlie was hurt but managed to get Colby and David out of the building because it was on fire, I think one of them, maybe Colby was stuck under something and Charlie exhibited great amounts of strength to drag them/move whatever Colby was stuck under to get them out. They all go to the hospital and I remember someone telling Don how much of a hero Charlie was since he saved them all. That's all I remember from it, I'd really like to find this fic again. Any help would be appreciated.

I seem to have misplaced this fic because I can't seem to find it.

All I remember is Charlie had earlier fallen down some stairs and hurt his back and wrist real bad. Then I remember one of Don's cases or something involving Charlie and Colby sneaks into the house demanding something (I think he had to do with the case too. I'm not to certain) all I remember is Colby tying up Don and Alan and trying to take Charlie but the cops show up and it turns out Charlie couldn't feel his legs? I don't remember what happened afterwords. I thought it was written by fraidycat at least I think it is. I just can't seem to find it. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi all,

Having a nostalgic Numb3rs moment and I'm looking for fics in which Charlie sees Don's battlescars for whatever reason (glimpses him changing his shirt, sees him with skin exposed for some other reason, etc.) and Charlie is upset because it drives home to him how dangerous Don's job is.

Gen or 'cest is ok, and it's also fine if this is not the main part of the fic. I checked the tags and scrolled through the last few pages; didn't find anything directly matching.

So any fics where Charlies is hurt/sick/whumped in anyway with protective!Don. Anything and everything. Just GEN for this request please. I'm willing to take one-shots or chaptered fics. I'm just hoping to find something new to read. Thanks!

I'm new to this and I hope this is appropriate - I am looking for longer Don-centric fanfiction with Don-in-danger and everyone worried about him. I prefer gen but other Don pairings are also okay. I also would like to read fics in which the theme of Don as the neglected child is brought up, either pre-series (as children or teenagers) or also fics that take place during or after the show. I especially would like to see something where Don is acting out due to being in the shadow of Charlie. :)

Also: I've seen "Fifth Man" and "Uncertainty Principle" - are there any other episodes in which Don is in danger and the others (or just Charlie) are worried? Please let me know!
