Soseki's Cryptomeria Grove by kljoyce

I know she scrubbed the story, and herself, off the internet over a decade ago but did anyone download the story or just copy and paste it into a word document for later reading? I'd really love to read it again for personal reasons.

Hey there new here and hope that people are still around cause I am getting desperate to find this fic.

So I am pretty sure this fic is on either AO3 or Fanfic since that is where I do most of my reading. (I am also pretty sure that the fic is marked as complete since that is also all I really read)

What I remember is that Ian Edgerton and Charlie are dating and Don doesn't really take it well cause he thinks Ian is going to get bored of Charlie. Somehow that got to Don comparing Charlie to a target in Ian's sight and getting bored of it and Ian answering that Charlie wasn't the target that he was the gun. I know that isn't much to go off of but I can't remember what else was there.

I remember reading this fic a while ago and now I can't find it. It took place in the wild west and Don was the sheriff and Charlie was the town's teacher. I want to say that it was Ian/Charlie but I may be wrong. One memorable point I remember was that because of ear infections that Charlie had as a child, he gets motion sick from riding horses so he has to follow the group on a donkey whenever they have to ride somewhere.

read this fic a while ago can't remember where i found it. I remember it wasn't finished and the pairing was charlie/ian. If i remember correctly charlie was away at a conference or lecture (in new york maybe) and got bitten by a vampire. He changed overnight but was too scared to call Don and for some reason called Ian who came quickly. Don't remember anything else. Please let me know if you recognize this.

Alright I don't remember much about this fic, besides the fact that it was slash, and Ian keeps giving Charlie really weird gifts (a bird, an apple, etc.), and later something bad happens in their relationship and Charlie runs off to India, and Ian eventually follows him there. If anyone could help me with this fic, I would be eternally grateful!
