LF an Ian drabble

I'm looking for an Ian drabble that was most likely posted to numb3rs100  quite a while ago.

I can't remember much about it, except that one of Ian's shots went awry and he ended up killing one of the team. It was darkly beautiful and I've been dying to find it. Any help would be much appreciated- TIA!

I think it was called 'third best shot' and it was colby that got hit.
