This is completely emmademarais' fault. EDIT: Scratch that, this one's on sororcula and mercilynn. She mentioned Numb3rs mpreg and I just had to go look. I've already seen the Colby/Coop one by mercilynn, is there anything else? I'd prefer plotty over pure crack, if at all possible, and bonus points for getting Charlie and/or Colby involved.

there's just... no mpreg in this fandom
*cries* I know, it's really sad! What's worse is that I'm in the middle of an mpreg in another fandom, but I can't seem to get my Numb3rs muses (well, the male ones) pregnant. *kicks her muses* They actually want to follow the rules of science, the silly things...

Numb3rs is a hard fandom to get cracky in. Sometimes an idea hits that works well, or you can keep it going long enough for a drabble, but I can definitely see how mpreg would be a hard sell with these characters. Personally I'm not really that big a fan of mpreg (though I have read some that I've adored) so I'm not really interested in writing any, but... yes. Good luck. :-)

So far I'm kind of skirting that pesky science issue by having it from Colby's POV and making it so complicated it just flies over his head. We'll see how it works out...

As for the other fandom, DC Comics, Superman specifically, with Batman as the father. *grins and hopes she hasn't caused you an 'oh noes my childhood!' moment* I figure those Kryptonian genes have to be good for *something*, lol...

Supernatural is a good fandom for mpreg because you can always blame it on a demon or a witch or a cursed object.
