Okay I've been looking for 3 days for a certain fic I even remember quite a bit of it. It's where Don and the team are Charlies protective detail in a van and they go down one road and get blocked off. Don has to switch IDs with a dead guy and some terrorists I believe end up torturing Charlie and give him a syringe of this poison that has after shocks but in the end of the fic Charlie gets the medal of freedom I believe.
please tell me some one knows what its called.

Nope I'm afraid its not. love that series though. I do remember in the story I'm thinking of they somehow end up in Mexico and have to get to the border and have agent edgertan(?) with them and someone else.Oh yes and when there on the way to the border they have agent of the U.S government after them shooting at them.Thanks for trying though, I'm starting to think I read to many read to many fics they all blur.

I was wrong about Fraidy Cat, but I do think at least part of what you remember is in Traitor. If you go to the later chapters (around 37), you'll find Edgerton, and the river, and agents shooting. Maybe you're mixing up a couple of stories. I do that all the time.
