Charlie Friends with Mafia

Hello! I am trying to find a fic (90% certain I originally read it on ff.net, but it has been several years since I was active in this fandom) where Charlie is approached by an old friend who asks him to look into his daughter's death. I believe that he man thought the death, although it looked accidental or a hit and run, was actually the work of a serial killer b/c of similar cases on a timeline. The friend had approached Charlie b/c he knew about Charlie's find of the major serial killer.

Charlie ends up going to the east coast, and Don either goes with him or follows him out after b/c it turns out the friend was a member of a large mafia/mob family, and the DA and FBI wanted to keep tabs on him. Turns out Charlie had tutored several of the mafia's family members in college, and had become close friends with them. The fic ends why Charlie finding the killer, and then both him and Don go to family dinner with the mafia.

Case-fic with unconventional "partnership"

I'd enjoy some stories that explore different relationships than we commonly see. All canon-friendly - I'm not talking 'ships here, but working relationships and friendships. But a fic where Liz works heavily with David, Colby, or Megan. Or Don works with Larry or Amita (particularly set early in the series, before he knows them well). Or how about David and Charlie? What about Terry and David back when she thought of him as a spy? Actually, I'm very, very intrigued by the idea of a Liz/Larry friendship, given their talk about family and her hugging him goodbye. Just the various non-romantic character pairings that I just don't see much of in fic and would like to.

Edit: would it be possible to get a Terry tag? Or did I just overlook it?

Case-fic with Liz or Nikki

I'm looking for a good plot-based, multi-chaptered fic. I'm good with strong subplots on interpersonal issues (romantic or otherwise), but I want an actual case for them to solve, too. I've seen some of those with Megan, but not any with Liz or Nikki that I can find (Liz and Megan both would be lovely, too), and I'm just interested in one set later. I like Liz and Nikki. And I like the idea of David's growing supervisory role, Charlie/Amita well-established, and Charlie not incessantly referred to as a skinny kid. It would be a plus if Larry and/or Amita to play in, since I really do adore my geeks, but not necessary. Canonical couples for time period, please.

Crucified Charlie

Hey guys! I'm looking for a fic that was on fanfiction.net and it was about charlie and Don working a case together where the perp crucifies his victimes. I think in the first Chapter there's a scene where Charlie is victim to the killer and Don finds him crucified. If anyone could get back to me that'd be great, thank you!

Favorite authors

I am looking for your favorite Numb3rs author. Those that write GEN angst filled stories with Charlie as the focus of the story, the longer the better. I read really fast and find that I am running out of new stories to read. I thought about listing those that I have read and loved but the list would be way to long. LF: Specific fic w/Charlie, Colby and David

I seem to have lost this fic and I'd really like to find it.

All I remember is Colby and David taking Charlie to some warehouse (crime scene?) to get some sort of data or something to help his math. They didn't realize that explosives (a bomb?) were left behind from the original bad guys. It blows up and injures all of them. Charlie was hurt but managed to get Colby and David out of the building because it was on fire, I think one of them, maybe Colby was stuck under something and Charlie exhibited great amounts of strength to drag them/move whatever Colby was stuck under to get them out. They all go to the hospital and I remember someone telling Don how much of a hero Charlie was since he saved them all. That's all I remember from it, I'd really like to find this fic again. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi guys: I'm brand new to the Numb3rs fandom and am looking for all of those must read stories. The best of the best and most loved. In general I prefer long slash fics but I'll try any pairing. Just from the show, I think could especially love Don/Charlie and David/Colby stuff though.

Don-centric fic & episodes

Hi!
I'm new to this and I hope this is appropriate - I am looking for longer Don-centric fanfiction with Don-in-danger and everyone worried about him. I prefer gen but other Don pairings are also okay. I also would like to read fics in which the theme of Don as the neglected child is brought up, either pre-series (as children or teenagers) or also fics that take place during or after the show. I especially would like to see something where Don is acting out due to being in the shadow of Charlie. :)

Also: I've seen "Fifth Man" and "Uncertainty Principle" - are there any other episodes in which Don is in danger and the others (or just Charlie) are worried? Please let me know!

LF: Specific Bullied!Charlie story

Hey guys I seemed to have lost this fic and can't find it! /0\

I remember is was on FF.net, and an old childhood friend of Don's (who I believe is also an FBI) agent comes to work with him. He's a crooked agent, which means he's involved in their case somehow and he used to bully Charlie as a kid but I think Don just turned a blind eye towards it or didn't see it.

Once he's working with Don he continues to bully Charlie and tells him to stop doing stuff with his brother that sorta thing. I remember it's Colby I think who finds out and he gets really pissed at the guy and wants to beat his ass. Then Colby, Megan and David tell Don about it.

I think the guy gets Charlie hurt somehow with the case but I may be wrong. Oh and it was GEN and when Don finally finds out he's pissed as hell.

So any help to find this fic would be appreciated!

And with that note I will take on any bullied!Charlie fic with protective!Don

LF competent!Don-centric Story

This is a general request, but I haven't found anything like it in the tags. I'd like to read some stories where:

-Don is the main character
-Don uses his FBI-skills in an impressive way
-No math is used (or at least, not to solve the case)
-And the ending is (mostly) happy.

Preferably no episode tags.

I'd like something in the vein of ALEO's stories (Pursuit, Caffeine, Vigilant Terrorist, Defense, Hunted), Reality of the Present., The Unquantifiable Variable, In a Mirror, Darkliy, or Time to Kill.

It doesn't matter if it's an official case or Don stumbles onto a crime in progress, but I'd like to be impressed by his skills - fighting, negotiating, leading, manipulating or otherwise.

The fic can be canon or au, any POV, gen het or slash, any genre and as dark or light as it comes (provided that it ends reasonably happy), and, of course, the longer the better.

Any help is appreciated!

Newbie here in need of Ficcage

For some reason I can't seem to fathom I'm just now getting into Numb3rs fanfic when I already watched all seasons and episode. (Weird I know) So now I'm jumping in and taking the plunge. So here's a very general request.

I'm looking for the best Numb3rs fics around. Like the great ones everyone knows about to help get me started into Fanfiction for Numb3rs. But let's keep it Gen one step at a time I'm sure I'll convert sooner or later :/ Plus Charlie Whumping and Protective Don is always a welcome win.

Don as the bad guy, only not

Hi guys!

I have a general request: are there any fics out there where Don is the suspect in a case? Basically any fics that suggest Don is a bad guy, but he isn't really.. I hope you understand what I mean. Stories that have a similair subject line as 'The Fugitive' and 'Vigilante Terrorist'. Thank you!
