LF "angels & devils" AU endings

searching the group tags haven't turned anything up for this episode so....

I happen to think that the producers missed a huge chance to shake things up with how they ended "angels & devils." So I'm looking for any AU fics that really mix up how it ended: what if Amita had been killed? or if the kidnapping makes her say "I'm outta this crazy life you dragged me into" & she dumps Charlie. Even better if this ends up bringing Megan back so she and Larry can be together. Or what if the cult guy was smarter than Amita thought & figured out her trick, got away and dragged Amita with him--I see a manhunt with Ian, Don and the guys.

Ooh! This sounds like such a good idea!! I was thinking of writing one when Amita leaves him at the end and Charlie has to deal with the aftermath. I'll try and look for some stories for you.

I've been searching but haven't turned anything up yet. It seems like an obvious turning point to go a different direction no matter the genre you like (gen, het or slash). *shrug* I don't hang at many numb3rs comms, mainly sticking at archives, so I figured people here might have seen something.

If I find anything I'll post a follow-up here. i'd write my own but i don't write numb3rs--so you should totally write your idea. You'll have at least one reader. (grin)

Aww, thanks! I've only found two stories about the ep Angels and Devils on FF and they have nothing t do with your idea. I'll have a look on Calsci Libary and hunt around on Livejournal. I'm sure I'll find some somwhere. It would be cool to bring Megan back into the story, they really shouldn't hae cut her out of the series. =[
