Ohh I'm so excited to find this community! I help run the spnstoryfinders comm for Supernatural and I was really hoping to find something similar for numb3rs!!

So I’m pretty new to the numb3rs fandom and I started thinking: in every fandom I've been in, there has been a handful of stories that everybody has read. These classics of the fandom are the kind that everybody's familiar with - except us newbies.

So what stories are the ones you'd nominate as classics? I’m mainly looking for slash or gen (feel free to rec me Don/Charlie). I love h/c, angst, first time, humor/crack... oh and kink, kink is a very good thing XD but mainly I'm just genuinely curious to learn which fics are considered the well-known, cut-above-the-rest ones.

Oh, you could have! LOL I'm sure others will come along with specific URLs for you, but I wanted to take time out - even though I'm swamped today - to get you started. Everyone will tell you Parallel Connections. It's the one fic we agree on as a fandom classic. I'd check out the awards first. You'll find the most loved fic there. Oh and numb3rsficathon and numb3rs_newyear tend to have good stuff as well. N100 had over 1000 fic last year alone so that's a long term investment in reading. /big grin/ RoK is uneven in terms of quality, but I figure you'll quickly figure out which authors you like and be able to find their works there to get their kinkier efforts.

Two weeks, huh? Oh, we've got more than enough fic to keep you busy! /beams/
