LFS: Charlie and Don Fight... Charlie Leaves

I like the idea of Charlie striking out on his own after a huge fight with Don.  Either he needs time and space to allow his heart to heal or he needs to prove that he can 'be an adult'.  One in particular has Charlie heading to D.C. and Bob Tompkins arranges an apartment for him.  Eventually Don comes to visit.  (And I think Charlie got hit by a ball at a baseball game?)

Anyway... I would love any links to this type of fic provided.  Preferrably complete but WIP okay if not abandoned.  Het, Gen, Slash okay.

No no no!! I KNOW this one is out there!! I cannot have imagined it! LOL!

In this one, Don hits Charlie and Charlie leaves indefinitely. Late they are at a baseball game and Charlie is taking a drink of water from a bottle and a foul ball is heading straight for his throat. Don catches the ball but knocks into Charlie. That sends Charlie off the bleachers and into the hospital and breaks Don's hand.

Yeah... I am sure I actually read that somewhere!
