Charlie in danger

Hi! 
I'm looking for a fic I read a while ago. Some bad guys (perhaps the russian mob?) try to get to Don by going after Charlie. I remember a scene where Charlie gives a lecture and notices two bad guys in the audience and his cell phone does not work so he uses his students to get help. 
I think it's gen, but I'm not sure. Thanks for your help!

hmmmm.... i was going to say that it may be irena_adler and "it changes everything"... not gen, slash charlie/colby. it was the russian mob, but no bad guys in the back of the classroom.

i can see that now - i'm seeing all sors of connections and cannon for the first time! i just recieved my first three seasons dvds and am at 1.07... it's almost like i understand the epis better now that i've read all this fic! i don't think i started watching until mid-S2 anyway, but i'm totally catching things that i didn't notice before anyway.

that's a lot of rambling saying that i'm just really glad i got my dvds in the mail on friday.

This made me chuckle because I've often done just the opposite; I'll be going, that ep with the, you know, blah, blah, blah, and then I'll realize that it was a fic and not an ep, though it would have made a good one. *g*
