Hi, looking for a fic where charlie is on assignment (on east coast I think) and is attacked.  He ends up staying at coop's house for protection.  I think the bad guys try to kill him by throwing him off a pier.  Hope this rings a bell with someone :-)  thanks

Oh my friend, my friend. You are talking about one of my all time favorite of fics Safe Harbor (http://emmademarais.livejournal.com/196165.html) . This is one I have read so many times, I just want to move into the story and live there. And you are in for quite the treat, cause I have it on very good authority that the author is working on a companion fic told from Billy's pov. So enjoy and don't forget to comment on the story if you like it.

YES!!! I am all for this! In fact, I am trying to subtly pressure her into writing a followup fic about Billy being integrated into Charlie's life in LA. How much would u love to see a double date b/t Billy/Charlie and Megan/Larry??? or David falling for the spicy Magda? And we know how much Alan enjoys planning a good backyard wedding /wink wink nudge nudge/ right? Two groom cake topper shouldn't be that hard to find in California..../snickers/

I know that Emma does have a companion piece planned. I think it's a matter of wielding the pokie stick while drowning her in love to get in finished. And it is an amazing story.
